Sound Requirements

Detailed gear requirements per member on stage:
 
MIKE GREENE (guitar/vocals) - Stage Left
VOCAL REQUIREMENTS -Dynamic unidirectional microphone (Shure SM-58 or comparable/better) -Microphone stand with boom extension (tripod preferred) -XLR cable(s) (aka Mic Cable) long enough to run to sound board

MONITOR REQUIREMENTS -12" (minimum) speaker(s) (one speaker minimum) -Power cable for speaker (if necessary) -XLR or 1/4" cable(s) long enough to run to sound board

GUITAR AMPLIFIER REQUIREMENTS
-Dynamic unidirectional cardioid microphone (Shure SM-57 or comparable/better)
-Microphone stand with boom extension

-AC power (GROUNDED) with extension cord (6 outlets preferred, 3 minimum)

MATT NOLAN (bass guitar/vocals) - Stage Right
VOCAL REQUIREMENTS -Dynamic unidirectional microphone (Shure SM-58 or comparable/better) -Microphone stand with boom extension (tripod preferred) -XLR cable(s) long enough to run to sound board

MONITOR REQUIREMENTS -12" (minimum) speaker(s) (one speaker minimum) -Power cable for speaker (if necessary) -XLR or 1/4" cable(s) long enough to run to sound board

BASS GUITAR AMPLIFIER REQUIREMENTS
-Direct Box (DI) (Livewire or comparable/better)
-1/4" cable to connect DI to bass amp
-XLR cable long enough to connect DI to mixer
-AC power (GROUNDED) with extension cord (6 outlets preferred, 3 minimum)

Jason Yates (drums) - Center stage (rear)
MONITOR REQUIREMENTS -12" (minimum) speaker (one speaker minimum) -Power cable for speaker (if necessary) -XLR or 1/4" cable(s) long enough to run to sound board

DRUM MIC REQUIREMENTS REQUIREMENTS
-Drum Mic kit (preferred - see stage plot input list) If not, at least a high output supercardioid microphone (Shure Beta 52-A or comparable/better) for bass drum

-Bass drum microphone stand with boom extension

-Direct Box (DI) (Livewire or comparable/better) (for our ipod) -XLR cable long enough to connect DI to mixer -AC power (GROUNDED) with extension cord (6 outlets preferred, 3 minimum)

MIXING CONSOLE REQUIREMENTS
-13 channels needed (8 minimum - see stage plot input list)
-3 individual monitor mixes (preferred - 2 minimum)
-Should include a 4 band (3 minimum) fully parametric EQ Independent
-Professional sound engineer to run house

FRONT OF HOUSE SPEAKER REQUIREMENTS
-Dual 12" (or single 15") Speaker (with horn) -Subwoofer (preferably 2 - minimum 1)
SOUND ENGINEER
-Venue must provide an experienced sound engineer capable of mixing a full band. It is of the utmost importance that the system is staffed by persons highly familiar with the system to assist the band's technical staff. Contact information should be provided as soon as possible.
-If sound engineer is not available, we will assist in finding an engineer we have worked with in your town or we will provide one for the cost of round trip airfare, expenses and engineer fee
